1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Markt Welt website, mobile applications, accounts, marketplace tools, ordering, payment, delivery, review, support, and related services.
By creating an account, placing an order, registering a business, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them. Do not use the platform if you cannot lawfully agree.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep it current, protect your login credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Business, pharmacy, restaurant, courier, and staff accounts may require verification, approval, credentials, role assignments, or additional agreements.
3. Marketplace roles
Independent sellers and service providers are responsible for their listings, licences, prices, stock, product quality, safety, fulfilment, tax obligations, and compliance with law. MarktWelt provides marketplace technology and operational controls but does not automatically become the manufacturer, seller, restaurant, pharmacy, courier, or payment institution for every transaction.
4. Listings, orders, pricing, and availability
- Listings must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
- Prices, currencies, taxes, delivery charges, discounts, and availability can vary by seller and destination.
- An order submission is a request to purchase. Acceptance may depend on stock, verification, payment authorisation, delivery coverage, and legal eligibility.
- Obvious pricing, technical, or catalogue errors may be corrected. Where an accepted order is affected, the customer will be informed and offered the remedies required by applicable law.
5. Payments, delivery, cancellations, and returns
Payment is governed by the Payment Policy. Delivery is governed by the Shipping Policy. Cancellations, returns, and refunds are governed by the Return Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
6. Regulated and restricted products
Certain products, including pharmacy items, may require age, identity, prescription, location, professional, or other eligibility checks. Orders may be refused, limited, or cancelled where fulfilment would be unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with professional obligations.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the platform, interfere with security, scrape or overload services without permission, impersonate others, submit fraudulent transactions, manipulate reviews, evade restrictions, upload unlawful content, infringe rights, or use the marketplace to offer prohibited goods or services.
8. Content and intellectual property
MarktWelt and its licensors retain rights in the platform software, design, branding, and original content. Users and businesses retain rights in their own content but grant the permissions reasonably needed to host, display, process, moderate, and distribute that content for marketplace operation.
9. Service availability and enforcement
Features may change, be suspended, or become unavailable for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or commercial reasons. Accounts, listings, orders, or access may be restricted when necessary to investigate risk, protect users, comply with law, or enforce these terms.
10. Responsibility, liability, and disputes
Each party remains responsible for its own acts and obligations. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MarktWelt is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, third-party conduct, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact support so the issue can be reviewed. The governing law and dispute forum depend on the contracting entity, transaction, destination, and mandatory local law.
